General outline of responsibilities:
Assessing feasibility and selecting appropriate manufacturing technology
Designing and implementing new as well as modifying existing stamping tools
Supervising the execution of designed stamping tools
Overseeing technical documentation
Requirements:
Higher technical education (mechanics, machine construction, or related fields)
Knowledge of technical drawing and creating technical documentation
Practical experience with 2D/3D CAD systems (CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, Inventor)
Communication skills and ability to work in a team
Willingness to learn and improve qualifications
Preferred:
Ability to use AUTOFORM or PAMSTAMP software
Knowledge of CAM systems (DELMIA, NX CAD/CAM, AlphaCAM)
Experience in stamping tool construction
Proficiency in English/German language
